Join us on our Thames sailing barge s.b.Centaur (1895) for a full day sail on the river Blackwater. Our plan is to visit the hidden gem that is West Mersea, a delightful blend of old fishing village and seaside town. When under sail see how two people handle the barge and, when appropriate, you may fancy a trick on the wheel or a heave or two on the lines. Join the barge on Sunday morning before 07:00. Returning on Sunday at around 19:00.

Boarding details
Boarding will commence at Hythe Quay, Maldon on Sunday 14th May at 7:00.
Please make sure that you bring warm and wet weather clothing with you.
You will also need to bring your own bedding, although a mattress is provided.
Parking is not available on the Quay. Parking is however available in the various Town Car Parks, the closest being High Street East CM9 5RU. You can book a weekends parking via RINGO Location Code 21807
