75th Anniversary Open Day and Pudge Relaunch

The Thames Sailing Barge Trust is 75 years old this year

To celebrate this event we are holding a special Open Day on Monday 1st May.
This special birthday also coincides with the relaunch of our historic sailing barge Pudge which will be sailing this year after a 5 year restoration programme and refit.

Pudge and Centaur will be open to the public to visit and inspect. The Trust will be providing refreshments and each child will be given a free Activity Book. Entrance is FREE, although as we are a charity and run by volunteers you are able to make a donation on the day.

During the day we plan to celebrate Pudge’s relaunch by cracking a bottle over her bow.

Our shop will be open and we hope to have other activities taking place as well.
