An Introduction to the Thames Sailing Barge
Join us at the Town Hall in beautiful Maldon, Essex, to learn about the iconic Thames sailing barge and the role these vessels played in our history.
The course is spread over a two week period on Tuesdays the 12th & 19th March and will look at the way the barge has developed over the years, what it was used for and how these days they continue to sail around the East Anglian coast and the Thames estuary.
